Best VRBO host and property ever!

We’ve stayed at vacation rentals around the world and even had our own rental property…this host wins our award for BEST EVER. She didn’t miss a single little detail. We arrived to her warm welcome, homemade blueberry muffins, water and a quick tour of the home. The home was stocked with everything that we needed for our visit. Stop at the house prior to going to the grocery store because the home had more essential items than you would normally find at a vacation rental home. The place was so amazing that we decided to give up a day of site seeing to enjoy the beautiful view from the porch that overlooks a rock wall (that is lit up at night) and stream. The kitchen was stocked well and there was a gas grill on the back porch so we ate at the cabin all but one meal. We enjoyed numerous daily wildlife visits from Turkey, deer and more. South Dakota exceeded our expectations in every way. Be sure to visit Custer State Park, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands. We stayed 4 nights and wish we had booked a 7 + night stay.   - Deborah S.

 

Absolutely Perfect!

My husband said it best…if all the other cabins for visitors to stay in the Black Hills along Rapid Creek are pearls, the Creek Front Cabin is a diamond! My goodness, what a wonderful place to stay! Pam is the ideal host, area info provider & designer of this peaceful & beautiful oasis to vacation in. The inside is a warm, inviting area with EVERYTHING you may need. While the huge deck is where you will spend most of your time listening to the relaxing creek meander by & also looking at all the different shapes & colors of the magnificent rock outcropping just on the other side of the creek. And short naps in the hammock are a must. Great place for couples or families. We will be back next Summer!  - Mary M.

Paradise on the Creek

Wow! Do not pass up this listing. My husband and I recently stayed here for our visit to SD; we could not have picked a better place! While there were only 2 of us, it could easily accommodate a party of 4. It is such a warm, cozy, inviting cabin. We did venture out on our first day there, but we decided to remain at the cabin for the rest of our stay. Once there, you'll understand why. We just did not want to leave that porch! It's amazing. Cozy seating, beautiful scenery with the creek running through, and the sound of the creek is so relaxing. Inside the cabin, you will find anything and everything you need. Pam has thought of everything to make this a perfect stay for her guests. Clear instructions for everything, the cabin is pristine, and of course suggestions for all of the local hot spots. And did I mention the rhubarb bars that were waiting for us upon arrival? Delicious!!! Thank you Tom and Pam for a wonderful stay. We hope to return some day!  - Amanda J.

A Little Piece of Heaven!

The Creek Front Cabin is a most wonderful place to stay. Pam greeted us personally and gave us a tour of the cabin and all the information we needed to make it a stress-free visit. The cabin is furnished with everything one needs to make it very comfortable and inviting. It was so wonderful to come back to this cabin after a day of sight seeing and just relax. The sound of the river located just a few feet from the cabin was an awesome sound. One can't help but relax and enjoy all of the beautiful sights of this location. We had deer visit us every night and were greeted by wild turkeys every morning. It is centrally located to all of the sights of the area. We stayed here with another couple and it was absolutely perfect for us with both couples having their own bathroom and accommodations. We could not have asked for anything more to make our stay more enjoyable and comfortable. I hope that we will be able to visit again in the future. Thanks for everything!      - Donna S.
